Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency roofing. Just give us a call and you can count on us to be there usually within the hour. During an emergency repair we send our most experienced team and then will conduct a temporary repair to stop further damage and make your roof safe. We take photos throughout in cae you need them for insurance purposes or for your own records.

We can be anywhere in Somerset within one hour. Our head office is in Weston-Super-Mare, so it's usually about 15 minutes depending on where in Weston you are and the traffic conditions.
What constitutes a roofing emergency?
A roofing emergency is when you have an ingress of water coming through your roof or if your roof is visibly unsafe particularly during a storm. If you’re not sure, call us for advice on what you need.

What should I do if my roof is leaking?
If your roof is leaking, there are a few options. The easiest is to take a photo of where the water is coming in and any damp spots around your property and send the photos via WhatsApp to a professional roofer. This is a service provided by ERS Roofing. Once photos are recieved they can advise you on whether you need an emergency repair, a full repair and what may be causing the leaks. Alternatively, you can try and find the source of the leak yourself and rectify it. You would need to have some repair knowledge.

Do you provide photographs for insurance claims?

ERS Roofing provide photographs for all the work we did which can be used for insurance claims. We can also provide full reports for insurance purpose if requested. Photos are taken from start to finish on each job.
What do I do if tiles blow off during a storm?

If your tiles are blowing off during a storm, this can be extremely dangergous particularly if you don’t have the correct safety gear. As roofing experts for more than 35 years, we would advise that you stay indoors and call ERS Roofing for an emergency repair. We have had incidents of customers calling because tiles have blown off and smashed on cars and members of the public have sustained a head injury. It is important to have an expert on-site for your own safety.
Can you temporarily waterproof the roof?
Yes we can temporarily waterproof the roof. We have specialist products that we use such as Flash Band Seal. When ERS Roofing do an emergency call out we will usually temporarily waterproof the roof to prevent any further leaks.

Yes, we can repair storm damage immediately. We will usually do this on an emergency call out. However, the repair will usually be a temporary repair as during a storm it won’t be safe enough to conduct a full repair.

How much does an emergency roofer cost?

The cost for an emergency roofer can vary depending of the size of roof and extent of the damage. There will also be additional costs if scaffolding is required. Whilst we generally work off ladders, scaffolding can cost us anything from £700. We will of course avoid unnecessary costs where possible. As for the repair, the average cost is around £585. It could be less if the damage is minimal and more if we require more materials, a larger repair team or if (as mentioned) we need scaffolding.
